Faculty Observation Program

Recently, Columbia College piloted a Faculty Observation Program. This program included having an external Curriculum Development Consultant observe a class and provide feedback.

One of the facilitators to participate in this pilot program was Dawn Paterson. Dawn is a facilitator in the Dental Assistant Professional Program. She took some time to discuss this process and what it entailed.

Columbia College has extended this program and made it available to all of Columbia’s faculty to help improve their facilitation methods or provide feedback. This is an excellent opportunity for both faculty and students.
