Thank you for your interest in the Intraoral Skills course with Dental Continuing Education.

Students will be screened based on pre-requisites and criteria as outlined on the website. Limited number of students are allotted for each course date.

 The October 2026 session will be held on Friday October 23, 2026. Applications for registration will open on this website page. Please click the Apply Now button at the bottom of the page on Monday September 14, 2026, starting at 9:00 a.m. Mountain Time (MT) and will close on Tuesday September 15, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. Mountain Time (MT).

Criteria for Candidates

  • Must have attended CPE at least once
  • Must have attempted each skill at CPE at least once
  • Result from CPE attempt must have overall, 3 or less unsuccessful skills
  • Have less than 2 critical criteria under “Procedure” for each individual skill
  • 1 or less critical criteria under “Professional Practice” for each individual skill
  • Continuing Education Coordinator Approval

Bases and Liners

Course Description

This course offers students an opportunity to learn the concepts and skills necessary for applying dental bases and liners.

Pre-requisites

  • Registered with Provincial Regulatory Body or attempted CPE at least once
  • Review and Approval of most recent CPE Results
  • Continuing Education Coordinator Approval

Course Description

This course offers students an opportunity to learn the concepts and skills to safely place dental matrices and wedges.

This course offers students an opportunity to learn the concepts and skills of safely applying topical anesthetic.

    All course registrations are non-refundable. A $250 rebooking fee will apply if a clinic date is changed. Any change to a clinic date within 48 hours of the scheduled clinical session will require the student to re-register for the course. My registration is not confirmed until I receive an official confirmation email from the Dental Assisting Continuing Education Coordinator.
