Overview
Thank you for your interest in the Intraoral Skills course with Dental Continuing Education.
Students will be screened based on pre-requisites and criteria as outlined on the website. Limited number of students are allotted for each course date.
The December 2026 session will be held on Sunday, December 13th, 2026. Applications for registration will open on this website page. You will see the Apply Now button on Monday, November 16th, 2026, starting at 9:00 a.m. Mountain Time (MT) and will close on Tuesday, November 17th, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. Mountain Time (MT).
Criteria for Candidates
All criteria and pre-requisites will be reviewed and assessed for each skill. All skills must meet criteria and pre-requisites in order to move forward.
- Must have attended CPE at least once
- Must have attempted each skill at CPE at least once
- Result from CPE attempt must have overall, 3 or less unsuccessful skills
- 2 or less critical criteria under “Procedure” for each individual skill
- 1 or less critical criteria under “Professional Practice” for each individual skill
- Continuing Education Coordinator Approval
FAQ
Can my CPE results/ Application be reviewed before submission?
There are no preliminary assessments for applications. The “criteria for candidates” list is for awareness, and candidates are encouraged to self assess before applying.
How do I receive the Continuing Education Coordinator Approval before applying?
Continuing Education Coordinator approval occurs after application submission, and upon reveiw of “Criteria for Candidates” and pre-requisites.
What is the Application Fee?
There is no fee to apply.
Are the criteria reviewed for all skills?
All criteria and pre-requisites will reviewed and assessed for each skill.
