Share your Success and WIN!

Between May 25 – June 30, 2021 for each Success Story submitted, Columbia College will enter the individual into a draw. The main prize is $250 and we will have some additional draws for Columbia College backpacks and blankets.

Submissions can be either written stories with a picture (400+ words) or a video story (between 1 – 3 minutes long). Each submission must be accompanied with permission for us to use the story on our social media and website.

Submissions should include: your name and the continuing education, course, or program you are attending or graduated from.  Submissions may include: why you chose Columbia College, why you chose the field you did, if you took College Prep prior to your program and if it helped you, what kind of work are you doing now or want to go into, what are your future plans, did you receive support from your advisor with the admissions or registration process, was staff friendly and helpful, what you like or liked about your faculty or courses or the student-centered hands-on delivery, if you had Mastery Learning in your program, and/or how you feel the college has helped you in meeting your goals. We want to hear YOUR success story!

For staff, this could include what you love about your field, why do you love working at the college, how do you feel your experience in your field helps support the students’ learning, and if you are a graduate, what do you think about your time as a student?

Draws!

We will host two separate draws – one will be for students (both current and graduate) and one will be for staff who are sharing their stories. Extra draws will be held for the backpacks and blankets.

Rules for Draw Entry

Only one entry is valid per individual. Individuals cannot enter more than one draw. Submissions must be accompanied with permission for us to use the stories on our social media and marketing. Winners will be notified by email by July 15, 2021. Arrangement for pick-up of prize will be made at that time.
