Course Delivery
Online
- Classes are taught through Microsoft Teams. Our well-trained and experienced staff will provide training and support to students who require additional assistance with online language training.
Entry Requirements
Language Entry Requirements:
- The Communicative Language Training & Speech Clarity for Professionals course welcomes all qualified applicants from across Alberta who have a minimum CLB 4.
Additional Requirements:
- For success in this course, students should have access to a digital device and internet connection.
Assessments
Our English Language Learning courses use an on-going method of assessment to measure students’ level of proficiency and their progress:
- Placement assessment will be used to identify the students’ starting level in the course.
- Formative assessment will be administered during the course delivery on a regular basis to measure the students’ progress and identify changes in the learning needs.
- Final assessment will summarize the progress and will determine a portion of the final mark.
A certificate of completion is issued to the students who achieve 70% or higher in the course.
