Schizophrenia Presentation

The Human Services Professional program had the pleasure of watching a presentation put on by the Schizophrenia Association of Alberta. Their play, called Starry, Starry Night tells a story about a man who is diagnosed with Schizophrenia.

The play was written by people who either have Schizophrenia or have a loved one who has it.

The play was presented during the Connecting to Communities course which is part of the Human Services Professional program. The course is designed to develop an understanding between families, community agencies, and support services professionals and how “the family” and its members impact the contiguous community and locate support and assistance when dealing with their specific familial issues.
