The main responsibility of an education assistant is to assist teachers in the delivery of appropriate instruction and provide students with learning support. As an education assistant, your starting salary may be up to $62,000 a year. If you wish to pursue this field, then you should consider opting for the 6-month Education assistant professional certificate program or the 12-month Human Services Professional Diploma with a specialization in Education.

Social Work Assistant

The job of a social work assistant can be challenging. It involves actively working with licensed social workers to help all kinds of people cope with trying circumstances. The most common issues that social work assistants deal with are unemployment, domestic abuse, divorce, adoption, and alcohol and drug addiction. The job can be difficult at times but the satisfaction of reaching out to the others in need makes it all worth it.

Disability Services Worker

A disability services worker provides emotional support and physical assistance to individuals who are mentally, physically, and/or emotionally challenged.
